Angelita Macuja has lived on Mararison for 78 years. What she enjoys most about the island is that it is quiet and that they all live simple lives. She started her homestay in order to make money and also start a new life with her children all being grown. She said that the biggest change in the island is in the volume if visitors that would visit them. Before Super Typhoon Yolanda, there were not too many visitors. Now, however, she said that the number of visitors has increased.
