Gracia Camino is a cheerful woman with a bright smile. She started her homestay in 2016. She was born and raised on Mararison and decided to set up her homestay after the onslaught of Super Typhoon Yolanda. She said that the COVID-19 pandemic has indeed caused a loss of income for her because there are no tourists on the island. She said this has also impacted their supply of water because they used to have a stable supply of water. One of the things she hopes for is for tourism to be allowed again so that she can have a stable income and for the community to have a steady supply of water again.
